Field Marketing: POS deliveries for Trident from MDA
MDA Limited is playing a key role in the distribution and collation of point of sale materials to support Cadbury's biggest marketing campaign in years - the launch of Trident chewing gum into the UK. Trident is currently the world's second-biggest chewing gum brand.
MDA became Cadbury Trebor Bassett's (CTB) exclusive handling partner in 2004, when one of its first tasks was the management of Cadbury Dairy Milk Centenary. For the Trident project, the company expects to manage a significant volume of POS items.
Ian Stead, managing director of MDA, which is based in Blackburn, says, "The Trident project is a huge logistical exercise but - having worked already for over 2 years with CTB - we're well prepared for the challenge. It is exciting to be so closely involved with such an important brand launch which could result in significant change for an important part of the UK confectionery market."
