Brand Experience: RT Triumph with V Festival

RT Marketing announced today that it has been appointed to manage the UK launch and sponsorship of sloggi's international competition, ‘Show me your sloggi', to find the most perfect male and female bottoms in the world! The sloggi brand is owned by Triumph International.

The launch of the UK competition will take place at the V Festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford on 18-19 August. As part of the experiential activity, there will be a sloggi fashion show at the V Festival, bringing to life the sloggi brand through the use of gorgeous models and funky dancers. There will be a photo booth area where festival goers can get a free photo taken of their time at V and also enter the ‘Show me your sloggi' competition.

In addition, RT Marketing will be creating and producing the promotional material to support sloggi's sponsorship of the V Festival and offer people the chance to win tickets to the big launch event. The point of sale material will be available in 610 stores across the UK, including Debenhams, House of Fraser, BHS and some independent retailers, in June/July 2007.

Purminder Mondair, Triumph UK Marketing Manager, commented: "Our cheeky and memorable ads, with their line up of long-legged beauties shot from behind, have made sloggi synonymous with bottoms. This competition is the perfect way to reinforce that message. Our aim is to make sloggi the talk of the town - and the world!

"We are pleased to continue our working relationship with RT Marketing. It is the safe pair of hands we need for such a campaign but, more than that, RT Marketing adds great value through its creativity and ability to bring the brand to life in an exciting and relevant way."

The most perfect male and female bottoms in the UK will be announced live in London in October this year, and the international final will be a red carpet event in a yet-to-be-announced European city in November this year. The winners will be awarded modelling contracts or the chance to appear as a body double in a Hollywood movie.
