Door 2 Door: Wilkinson Sword shown the door by Valassis

Wilkinson Sword is to promote its Quattro Titanium Energy razor in the launch distribution of Valassis's new media product Bonus Bag, a door-dropped, promotional goodie-bag bulging with offers, coupons and samples which will be distributed to 400,000 UK households, on May 21.

Gerhild Freller, group product manager for male shaving systems at Wilkinson Sword says: "We welcome innovative new developments in direct marketing and are very pleased to be one of the first participants in the Valassis Bonus Bag scheme."

Other offers in the launch include a free sample of NIVEA Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream, a money off coupon for a 6-pack KLEENEX® Balsam pocket pack tissues, more money off coupons for Marmite, Peperami, Nestle Oats & More and Flash with Flashguard and a complimentary pocket pack of KLEENEX® Balsam tissues.

The second Bonus Bag one-million-household distribution is planned for October, after which frequency and spread will increase to a quarterly distribution to 2 million households in targeted areas.
